Q: No VGA output while playing back a DVD? And USB/SD movie playback has no problems with VGA output?
A: Please hit the auto adjust on the Display screen you are using or set the display screen to a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

Q: Troubles with the play back of a video file? No video only sound or no sound only video?
A: The file you are trying to play probably is encoded with a codec that is not supported by the DUS-1.
The file has to be converted to the right format.

We have found a program for you that can do that.

AVS Video Converter 8.0 wich can be downloaded at this website: http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Converter.aspx NOTE: This is a demo version, in this version there will be a watermark shown the whole first minute of the converted video. Once activated this is not shown anymore.

When the program is running please follow the next steps:
1. Select ''In AVI''.
2. At ''Input file'' select the video you want to convert.
3. At ''Output file'' select the destination where you want to save the converted file.
4. Please select ''Profile'' Video: MPEG-4 (Divx, Xvid) 1500 kbps Audio: MP3 192 kbps or Video: MPEG-4 (Divx, Xvid) 768 kbps Audio: MP3 96 kbps.
5. Start the conversion. When finished the converted file will be played correctly by the DUS-1

Q: Troubles with playing video or sound from a USB thumb drive or SD card?
A: Make sure that the USB thumb drive or SD card is formatted in FAT or FAT32 file system.
Make sure that the USB thumb drive or SD card in use is fast enough. Minimum bandwidth speed has to be 1 MB per second. If you have a distortion in the video or sound the USB thumb drive or SD card in use is not fast enough.
NTFS is not supported! This means the player can't handle large disk drives

Q: No video signal on the used output?
A: Assure yourself that the used video output is also chosen in the video section of the setup menu (VGA-S-VIDEO- YUV component). If using the HDMI output, the HDMI option has to be turned on in the vide section of the setup menu. When HDMI is selected, VGA, S-Video or YUV component can not be selected anymore. By pressing the blue setup knob on the remote control the setup menu will appear. With the arrow keys on the remote control you can scroll true the menus.

Q: No stereo sound?
A: Go to speaker setup in the audio section of the setup menu. Be sure that stereo is selected at the ''Downmix'' option.

Q: Screensaver does not work?
A: Make sure this option is turned on in the general section of the setup menu.

Q: Player does not remember it's settings?
A: Make sure that last memory is turned on in the general section of the setup menu.
